There have been times when I used to be a Digg poweruser. I had almost a thousand of mutual friends there, I was digging their stories as often as I could and in exchange, they were digging my submissions and thus bringing me a decent traffic. However, Digg is no longer what it used to be. Too many users and too much of a low quality content. It doesn’t matter how good your content is. It just matters how many anonymous friends you have (most of them you’ve never spoken with) mechanically digging your submissions without even reading them. As a result, most of a digg traffic you receive is useless. [...]
